Fall 2022 JYF Season Important Dates:

August 14th - “Fit to Hit” Camp, Player Evaluations/Combine, & Equipment Handout:

• 1-2pm 6th & 7th Grade equipment handout
• 2-3:30pm 6th & 7th Grade "Fit to Hit" Camp/Combine
• 2-3:30pm 4th & 5th Grade equipment handout
• 3:30-5pm 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade "Fit to Hit" Camp/Combine

August 18th - Coaches Meeting & Player Draft (Coaches only, no players) 6pm. 

• Location:  Middle School Stadium Bleachers
• Come Hungry:  Pizza and drinks
• Hand out Combine Results by Grade
• JHS Trainer, Tackling Progression, Participation Numbers, Practice Locations, Game Specifics

Week of August 22nd – practices start

Practice times & days are subject to change based on your assigned coach's discretion, but tentative days & times are as follows: 

Week of August 22nd - 26th and 29th - Sept 2nd = Practices (check with your coach for days/times/locations)

No practice Monday (Labor Day) Sept 5th. Starting Sept 6th Practices (check with your coach for days/times/locations)

Sunday September 11th – Johnston Scrimmages @ Middle School Stadium (7th Grade = 1st Game)

Sunday September 18th – October 16th = 5 consecutive weekends of games;  Equipment turn-in 10/16. All Home Games will be played at the Middle School Stadium. (Note - some teams may have a BYE week during the year, and therefore may play their 5th game on 10/23).

Final Game schedule with times & locations will be released around Labor Day weekend.
